The woods out back.
I've been antsy the past several days. I feel better after the flu and was anxious to get out, but best to take a few days easing back into my training regiment and a perfect opportunity arose this afternoon. The storm had passed, and Kate and I hit the woods out back to snowshoe in the unbroken snow. Pace was casual and even though the snow was about two feet deep, it wasn't much work thanks to my snowshoes being 36" boats that are good for this kind of stuff (but only this kind of stuff).
Snowshoed 2.2 miles @ 29:06/mile pace.
AHR/MHR - N/A
Trails, ~2 feet unbroken snow.
Slightly hilly.
Mid 20s, partly cloudy, breezy.
Tubbs 36" snowshoes, long pants, Goretex jacket, long sleeves shirt, beanie, gloves.
