Running the Degrees

Eight degrees out. Eight miles run. The fun part is that it was during the warmest part of the day. I was dressed very comfortably, and really enjoyed it out there.

Energy felt great and the run felt effortless. It was a moderate effort run, but it came easily, and over some pretty good hills to boot. I had only planned on six miles over lighter hills, but adjusted that on the fly to get in some bigger climbs and more mileage. Good call and a good run.

Ran 8.6 miles @ 7:47/mile pace.
AHR/MHR - 145/158
Paved roads, mostly coated with packed snow and ice.
Very hilly.
8F/-13C degrees, sunny.
Saucony Kinvara, long pants, long tights, Goretex jacket, long sleeved shirt, short sleeved shirt, beanie, mittens.
