Longer Days

Really nice to have the extra daylight in the later part of the day, especially for these longer runs. Run itself went great. Felt strong throughout, though I did keep things slow and mellow. Still, I'm pleased with the low HR for that pace, especially after yesterday's long run. Felt effortless.

Ran 15.1 miles @ 8:30/mile pace.
AHR/MHR - 139/154
Paved roads.
Slightly hilly.
Lower 30s, sunny. Windy.
Long pants, fleece jacket, long sleeved shirt, refl. vest, beanie, gloves.

20 miler yesterday, 15 today... just cranking out those miles! Keep feeling great. I'm enjoying the extra sunlight too. Soon the sun will be up at 5 - love it.

Good work on keeping up on building that base mileage. You should be in dandy shape for the WS100 epic adventure. I will have to try and get out there so I can cheer you on from the Rucky Chucky aid station!

I'm starting to think that the low 30s are just about perfect running weather. Cool enough to keep you moving without sweating too bad, but not so cold that you feel like your going to go hypothermic. Great run and terrific HR (at any temperature)
