Session of hill repeats on tap for today. Given how steep this hill is, I expected less ice. Not the case. Several patches along the climb up, but it was still doable with some bobbing and weaving. Of course, a big sheet of it was also at the level section of the bottom, so I had to start immediately where the hill began.
Was slower than last time I did repeats here last month, but I think a combination of the harder and more numerous workouts lately and also not having that 10-20 feet of flat section to get some initial speed up helped knocked the pace down. No real worries, but it still does bruise the ego a bit.
Will likely do a trail run tomorrow.

Ran 2.8 miles @ 9:37/mile pace.
c/d: Ran 1.8 miles @ 8:30/mile pace.
Slightly hilly for the w/u and c/d.
