Joined the cross country team for some mile repeats on a grassy field. They were running them at their 5K pace so I joined the varsity guys.
I didn't have much time to warm-up but thankfully it worked out okay. Didn't pay much attention to the splits but each one averaged 5:58/mile with two minutes rest in between. I think the course might have been a little short though, it felt too easy, but a pretty good interval session all the same.
Afterwards, hit a three mile cool down on the roads. Great running weather with the cold front now passed through. Cutting this entry short as I'm ridiculously hungry.
