Ran seven miles in the woods out back at a nice, slow and steady pace for recovery. Legs felt relatively good actually. Definitely could have picked up the pace more if I had wanted to but I happily stuck to the one step backs yields two steps forward philosophy given yesterday.
Not going for crazy mileage or speed this week because of the Bruiser on Sunday. Would really like to race that well. Including the race, I don't expect to get more than 45 miles for the week. No crazy speed work either... perhaps will do a session of strides and/or a few miles at MP midweek but that's it.
Ran 7.1 miles @ 9:57/mile pace.
