One Mile

Ran 1.0 miles @ 8:24/mile pace.
AHR/MHR - 151/176
Paved roads.
Slightly hilly.
Lower 60s, sunny.

First post-surgery run was... well, cut short as a precaution. My knee felt uncomfortable, but not in the spot where it had been bothering me. Today it was more on the knee cap around where the incisions were. Perhaps it's just some scar tissue from where they went in? I don't know. But denial will get me nowhere. I need to be careful and really take it easy.

Hey, congrats on your first post-op run, even if it was cut short. You'll be back full force in no time!

Remember, we all started out by walking. You'll be back in shape in no-time; so there's no need to rush (although I understand the frustration)

Go for you to cut it short. Most runners deny having injuries. Listen to your body and take it slow.

See you at Pineland or other Trail Monster haunts soon enough.
