A whopping 55 degrees when I woke up at 4am. Unfortunately it was accompanied by rain and wind, so we said goodbye to a lot of snow today.
A lot.
*Sigh*. That sucks. I could have sworn I heard my snowshoes weeping. The rain stopped by mid-morning but the wind persisted. It made today's run interesting. Temperatures will drop back down to normal tomorrow but without the snow, it's just not the same.
Run today was easy paced, but the legs felt great. Held back, will save it for Sunday.
Ran 5.0 miles @ 7:47/mile pace. *estimated*
Paved roads.
Slightly hilly.
Lower 40s to upper 50s, sunny, very windy.
Merrell Bare Access, shorts, windbreaker, short sleeved shirt, beanie, gloves.
