One Week Away

Ran 2.25 miles @ 8:47/mile pace.
AHR/MHR - 138/161
Paved roads.
Mostly flat.
Upper 40s, sunny.

Nice weather today, but the knee was bothering me so I cut the planned five miler today down to two and a quarter.

Surgery is one week today. I'm really looking forward to it, simply so I can move on and be done with this crap! I feel like a rotting piece of fruit from not running as much. Ah well, this could be much worse and things will only get better so no real worries.

Now is there physio planned after that? It would be good to understand how you got hurt in the 1st place so it doesn't come back again. Hang in there!

Good attitude! I'm glad you're listening to your body and getting ready for your surgery. Hopefully, you'll be up and running again in no time!!

Good luck with the surgery. You'll soon have all this behind you.

Let me know when you are recovered. I would love to hook up with you and Ian for a tour around the Pineland course. I have tried to follow it on my own, but always get lost.

"Rotting piece of fruit?" Nice image. I'm sure that's not QUITE the way you feel, but that maybe it's a little bit of anxiety over your upcoming surgery.

I'm sure the big S will go swimmingly and you'll be racking up the miles in no time!
